5 Tips for Dreamforce First-Time Attendees

The most anticipated AI tech event of the year—Dreamforce—is almost here! With more than a thousand sessions and activities packed into just three days, it’s easy for first-timers to feel overwhelmed (and yes, even get a little lost). Don’t have a plan yet? Don’t worry—we’ve got your back.

As veteran attendees, we’ve put together a quick guide with five key tips to help you navigate #DF25 like a pro, make sure you don’t miss a beat, and get the most out of your experience.

1. Plan Ahead.

Before you arrive, set clear goals and use the Agenda Builder to filter for sessions that match your interests and learning style. Be sure to secure your spot before sessions fill up. Keep in mind: keynotes aren’t bookable, and seats are first-come. On time is late, arrive early!

Planning a night out? Check the Salesforce Ben website for the official Dreamforce After-Parties & Events Guide.

And if you’re active on social, stop by the Campground to grab a selfie with Agent Astro or your favorite Salesforce mascots—don’t forget to tag it with #DF25 to share the vibe.

2. Pack Smart

Bring comfy shoes (you’ll be doing a lot of walking), a notebook, device chargers, a power bank as a backup, and download a digital business card app like Hello.me will make networking faster and easier.

Don’t forget to pack business casual outfits and a light jacket for San Francisco’s October weather. A pocket-sized umbrella is a good idea too—you can expect light showers, but not heavy downpours.

And of course, leave some room in your suitcase for swag and mascot plushies!

3. Pick up Your Badge Early

Arrive a day early to get settled and beat the crowds. Pick up your badge first thing on Monday morning. Use the Express Badge digital pass to skip the long lines and grab it fast—giving you more time to explore San Francisco without the rush.

4. Stay in Control

Download the Salesforce Events app to navigate, manage your agenda on the fly, and stay updated in real time.

Block your calendar and mute incoming messages, so you can stay focused on your sessions without distractions.
