Devs United creates Salesforce Marketing Cloud Academy to boost professional development

In an effort to fullfill the demand of marketing professionals in the Salesforce ecosystem and to continue providing best-of-class digital marketing solutions on the Salesforce platform, Devs United is launching their first virtual learning program focused entirely on Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Devs United Academy.

The academy’s mission is to develop a comprehensive teaching methodology on Devs United’s expertise within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform with the goal to sustain the rapid growth within Devs United as well as helping other professionals, no matter the age, gender or social background, to start a career path inside the Salesforce ecosystem.

The Academy will consist of 3 main stages:

  • A first stage, where participants will gain general knowledge of the Marketing Cloud platform.
  • A second stage, by invitation only, where participants will get more hands-on experience on the platform, learn best practices and be able to get certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • A third and last stage which will consist of a paid internship to join the Devs United team, get certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and get real-world experience working on actual clients.

The initial stage received 129 submissions and will begin on February 2.

Devs United has the support of WomenForceIT, an organization led by Sara Hernández Muñoz and Carolina Alvarez, that focuses on increasing the presence of women with Salesforce expertise in the ecosystem and create more opportunities for professional development within a network of associated partners.

WomenForceIT will support the Devs United Academy by referring alumni of their program to join the Academy.

If you’d like to learn more about WomenForceIT and their mission please contact Sara Hernández Muñoz and Carolina Alvarez.

Another main supporter of this initiative is Salesforce, who will be supporting Devs United during the program and provide free vouchers for qualified students to get certified in the Salesforce platform.

With an estimate of 9.3 million jobs created by 2026, Devs United believes that in order to continue to be one of the most innovative and influential Salesforce Marketing Cloud partner in the ecosystem, it needs to invest in developing young professionals that can deliver best-of-class marketing services to our clients.
