DreamTX: 3 Exciting Education & Nonprofit Sessions

What a year it has been, with so many changes in such a short amount of time! The higher education and nonprofit industries have been doing some major pivoting to keep up with the ever-changing world, while keeping staff, students, and customers safe.

Dreamforce understands those needs, and will be helping to share sessions where nonprofits and universities can learn what others in their industry are doing to stay relevant. Let’s take a look at three of the sessions I am most looking forward to attending!

#1 Deliver Safe and Trusted Experiences with Work.com

Learn how Work.com connects insights from your HR, operations, and technology teams together to build trust and safety in your organization and deliver amazing customer and employee experiences. See how organizations like the University of Kentucky used Work.com to navigate their return to work, and keep employees safe.

Why it’s something to look forward to:

During a global pandemic, one of the top focuses of universities is making sure staff and students are safe coming back to school. Learning how the University of Kentucky is staying on top of this makes it a must-watch session.

#2 Driving Digital Transformation in Education

For many institutions, CRM is the digital transformation because it weaves together technology into a personalized digital experience. Leaders from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Cornell University will share how they are using Education Cloud as a unified CRM platform to create new — or modify existing — business processes, culture, and student journeys to meet changing business requirements.

Why it’s something to look forward to:

Data is at the center of everything we do and utilizing it to create personalized experiences is what sets universities apart in this digital world. Not only does this session dive into student journeys, but it also looks at building better business processes and culture. This has a little something for everyone, and I’m excited to hear from both universities!

#3 Managing Your Nonprofit’s Mission in Changing Times

As the world continues to change, nonprofits have had to reimagine their processes, tools, and technology. This session covers high-level trends impacting the nonprofit sector and actions your organization can take to be prepared for the new normal.

Why it’s something to look forward to:

I’m excited about this session because it gives a look at what trends are impacting the nonprofit industry, which may already be affecting you or it could be something to get ahead of. Being prepared, or learning how other nonprofits are handling similar issues is key right now. We’re all in this together, so I’m looking forward to seeing how different organizations are handling the current state.

While Dreamforce looks very different this year, it’s nice to know there are great sessions being offered that are thoughtful and can really help bring new insights to the nonprofit and education industries. This year, it won’t be a huge and exciting event in San Francisco, but I’ll still be attending some amazing sessions from the comfort of my own home!
